Profile: Andy Galletly
Skills: Flash Development AS2 + AS3, XHTML, CSS, PHP
Andy studied Fine Art at the University of Plymouth, and quickly developed an interest in film and interactive artworks.
Since moving to Brighton, Andy quickly became adept with Standards Compliant Design practice, earning FuturLab three award shortlistings including those for Accessibility and Search Engine Friendly Design. Later moving on to working on flash applications and websites, e-learning projects, and flash games.
Andy has spent the last year at FuturLab Meta working on game pitch ideas and creating flash maquettes for Sony (SCEE)
Andy has now taken the plunge into becoming a freelancer and is working on new flash projects.
Examples of my work
Apprentice Predictor
The Apprentice Predictor is a just-for-fun flash application, built for FremantleMedia and Monterosa to be played alongside the Apprentice on the BBC. Andy built the flash interface keeping track of scores and connecting to the Monterosa EnMasse multi-user interface.
P&O - “you deserve a holiday”
The P&O you deserve a holiday campaign, concieved by Designate to promote P&O's new moneygeddon-busting ferry deals.
Andy coded the AS3 logic behind the floating rosettes. Each rosette displays a random holiday wish from the sites archive.

Climate Cops
Climate Cops is a series of web based games built for NPower, to teach children how to save energy in the home.
SixthSense
SixthSense is an interactive virtual blueprint, built with object oriented flash. Different aspects of the company are represented with different objects on the blueprint.
Birdfeeder
Birdfeeder is a short film produced for the Film Council and Screen South which Andy edited.
The Red Restaurant
The Red Restaurant is an experimetnal theatre/film crossover.
Andy assisted with video editing and also built the website using html and css.
